Who Is It?! jueves! ? Get Ready for All the Fun!

Y’all, I am SO excited to introduce Who Is It!? jueves, my new weekly YouTube series! Every jueves (Thursday), I’ll be sitting down with some of the most incredible, passionate, FUN teachers I know. You’re not only going to feel inspired but you’ll likely laugh out loud, and snag some actionable strategies to implement on FriYay with your kids! ?

The idea came to me this weekend when I was at home with a TERRIBLE stomach bug, and my mommy introduced Paul and I to the Colbert Questionert! My wheels started spinning immediately after watching his interview with Matt Damon.  What if I did this with TEACHERS!!??!! OHHHH EMMMMM GEEEEEEE!!!!  That’s how “Who Is It?! jueves!” and the “Loca Line-up” was born!

What to Expect from Who Is It jueves ?

These are quick, joy-packed interviews (about 15 minutes each!) where I ask each guest the same 11 questions—some serious, some hilarious, and all of them designed to bring out the best of their personalities. This series is all about inspiring you while learning more about these incredible educators, personally and as a teacher!!!

Since I think I’ll literally pee myself if I wait any longer to show you, I’m sharing my first three episodes right here:

Episode 1: Darcy Pippins

For my first episode, I’m joined by the amazing Darcy Pippins, a high school Spanish teacher in Norman, Oklahoma, who has been teaching for 27 years! I’m now obsessed with her favorite Spanish word, and she brings a chill, joyful, HILARIOUS energy that I think so many new and veteran teachers will appreciate. I love this woman!!

Episode 2: John Sifert

Next, I sat down with John Sifert, a widely loved Spanish teacher, author, and “padre de cinco” who keeps it real with his nightly dessert ritual—such a fun peek into his life! John shares his insights on teaching and I know you’ll be inspired … I always am!

Episode 3: Rocio Jacoby

In episode three, you’ll meet Rocio Jacoby, an elementary Spanish teacher from Illinois who radiates dedication to her students and passion for acquisition driven instruction throughout her interview! Rocio’s commitment to making language learning engaging, personalized and accessible is something I think everyone will admire. She’s a gift!!!
