  1. Hola Annabelle, FIrst of all I love your blog and energy to have. I’ve been a teacher for more than 20 years, teaching Spanish for the last 10 years. I’ve wanted to give my students more but just wasn’t sure how to change things until I read about TPRS and found your blog. You have taught me how important brain breaks are and keeping things novel and so much more, Thank You!

  3. I have learned quite a bit from you but most of all, I have learned kindness! I admire the way you respect and treat your students which had inspired me to create a safe haven for my students. Thank you!!

  4. I love your blog, but pick ONE thing I’ve learned from you?!? That’s a tough choice! 🙂 I’ve learned that you don’t always have to do things in a traditional sense – like the Easter egg hunt activity that you did outside. Moving the classroom to a different location was so fun! Thanks for sharing your ideas!

  5. Bonjour Annabelle, last year I observed your language labs during the Express Fluency conference in Vermont and I learned so, so much! Mostly, I learned the importance of brain breaks. I taught my kids the Choco choco chocolate game and they absolutely loved it. It became our go-to break/treat/reward all year. I also loved your point system for classroom management. It worked really well for my little ones (I taught French, grades 1 to 5 for 5 years, but will also teach middle school this coming year). Thank you for sharing all your wonderful ideas with the rest of us!
